Tourism development in Kupres
Overview
Kupres is transitioning from a traditional winter sports destination into a year-round tourism hub. The region is experiencing an annual increase in tourists driven by summer activities such as motorcycle rallies, like the Bosnia Rally, and growing interest in mountain biking and electric cycling.
To support these developments and enhance its winter capacity, the Adria Ski Centar is implementing several infrastructure upgrades. These include the installation of a new four-seater chairlift with wind and snow protection to provide access to over 13 kilometers of trails, as well as improvements to water infrastructure, such as a new reservoir and pumping station, to facilitate artificial snowmaking.
