Overview

Authorities in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador have conducted vehicle seizures following reports of traffic violations and documentation irregularities.

In the Dominican Republic, the General Directorate of Transit and Land Transportation (DIGESETT) impounded a public transport van in the Verón–Punta Cana area. The action was taken after the vehicle’s driver was reported on social media for traveling against traffic and running a red light. The Road Intelligence Division located the vehicle following the public reports.
