These accounts, which reportedly hold approximately 804 crore rupees, were frozen following an FIR involving alleged financial irregularities and the unlawful routing of funds. Justice Saugata Bhattacharya ruled that the existing supervision model provided by the Special Officer remains sufficient, stating that granting a broader order to unfreeze these accounts would undermine the established oversight mechanism. The TMC has argued that these freezes paralyze party operations, but the court opted to maintain the controlled supervision rather than issuing an unconditional unfreezing order.
