Overview

Tropical Storm Fay moved through the North Atlantic, passing southwest of the Azores with sustained winds of approximately 110 km/h (65 mph). While there were initial concerns regarding rain and thunderstorms for the islands of Flores and Corvo, the storm was not expected to pose a direct threat to land or mainland Portugal.
