TryMoin Bio-Matcha product recall in Germany

Overview

TryMoin GmbH issued a voluntary recall of its 30-gram ‘Try Moin Bio Matcha Pure’ (batch M-P-002, best-before 23 Feb 2028) after routine safety testing and independent laboratory analysis detected residues of the fungicide tebuconazole.

The contaminated product was distributed through Rossmann drugstores and Globus supermarkets across nine German states. Tebuconazole is classified under EU regulation as a Category 2 reproductive toxin and is suspected of being carcinogenic, specifically to the liver, and potentially harmful to unborn children.

Consumers are advised to stop using the tea and return the affected batch to the point of sale for a full refund.
