Turkey DABIS student career guidance rollout

In July 2026 Turkey’s public employment agency İŞKUR introduced the Danışman Bilgi Sistemi (DABİS), a data‑driven platform that combines education and labour‑market information to help students choose university majors and vocational paths. On 19 July the service was integrated into the ISKUR Mobile app, offering real‑time indicators such as employment rates, average salaries and sector‑specific trends for roughly 3.5 million high‑school graduates. The platform draws on data from YÖK, MEB and anonymised SGK records covering 2010‑2024, allowing users to compare programmes across multiple indicators and access regional employment patterns.

By the end of the month, İŞKUR expanded the rollout with information stalls in Denizli province, where staff provided one‑to‑one advice and guided users to the DABİS portal via the mobile app or website. The agency emphasised that the system aims to close information gaps for students, parents, applicants and counsellors, promoting more evidence‑based career planning across Turkey.
