Overview

A criminal complaint filed by current mayor Mansur Yavaş alleged that a 536 million-TL loan intended for the Tatlar wastewater-treatment plant was diverted, endangering public health. Prosecutors declined to open a formal investigation into Gökçek, who has not commented on the matter.
