Recent commemorative activities have expanded to include Lapseki, where teams planted roses at the İki Atlı Martyrdom, and Yahyalı, where Mayor Esat Öztürk met with personnel. In Trabzon, the Ortahisar Municipality conducted visits to nursing homes and commemorated fallen officers. In Bornova, Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized the importance of the municipal police in field operations and announced plans to increase staff numbers to 140. In Kocaeli, Mayor Tahir Büyükakın highlighted the organization’s role in public security.

In Kuşadası, Deputy Mayor Tahsin Demirtaş met with personnel for a breakfast gathering, praising them as the “visible face of the municipality.” In Bilecik, celebrations included a vehicle convoy, a wreath-laying ceremony, and the distribution of brochures. Mayor Melek Mızrak Subaşı noted that the force’s role includes mediating disputes and protecting shared urban spaces. Other activities have included a children’s festival in Tokat and technological upgrades in Mersin.
