MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli warned that the weakening of the language could impact national identity and social cohesion.

Sedat Göncü of the MHP highlighted the responsibility to protect Turkish from the pressures of globalization, while Sevgi Özel, President of the Language Association (Dil Derneği), addressed the politicization of language and the significance of the Language Revolution.
