Turkish municipal traditional food workshops

Overview

The Çorum Municipality organized a community event at the Çorumlu Obası Youth Center where families and children prepared traditional winter food supplies together. Led by the municipality’s Directorate of Women and Family Services, the initiative included workshops for making pickles, menemen ingredients, and dried vegetables.

Approximately 150 participants from about 40 families attended the event, with the municipality providing all necessary ingredients. Mustafa Yaşar, Director of Women and Family Services, stated that the goal was to provide families with quality time away from the digital world through traditional activities and to create lasting memories within the family unit.
