On August 15, following the passage of the “Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration,” Kurtulmuş detailed the legislative framework intended to achieve a “terror-free Turkey.” He specified that the law is temporary and targets the PKK, PYD, and KCK organizations. The process includes three safeguards: security forces and the National Security Council must confirm the dissolution of these groups; a high-level committee chaired by the Vice President must approve individual files; and a monitoring commission of political parties will oversee the process. Kurtulmuş noted a six-month window for members to renounce activities, though he clarified that high-level officials, including those in Imrali, would not benefit from these provisions.
