Turkish public sector real estate and construction tenders

Public entities in Turkey continue to announce various tenders involving real estate leasing, infrastructure maintenance, and construction.

Real estate leasing opportunities under the State Tender Law No. 2886 remain active. The Istanbul Foundations 1st Regional Directorate is offering a 62.50 m² property in the Fatih district (Küçük Ayasofya neighborhood) for a 30-year lease. This project, intended for pension or boarding house use, includes a two-year construction or repair period followed by 28 years of operation, with an estimated total cost of approximately 4,488,235.00 TL. Additionally, the Dikili Municipality in Izmir has scheduled auctions for various shops, coffeehouses, and land plots across several neighborhoods, with lease terms ranging from 5 to 10 years.

Construction and renovation projects have expanded to include municipal maintenance and infrastructure. In Istanbul, Istanbul Technical University is initiating a tender for the renovation, insulation, and repair of approximately 1,500 square meters of terrace areas at its Ayazağa Campus, with a 75-day completion timeline. The Kağıthane Municipality has also announced a tender for the renovation of İncebayır Park and Yaşar Doğu Park, a project involving 79 construction items scheduled for completion within 180 days.

Other infrastructure projects include the Istanbul Governorship’s construction of the Çiğdem Healthy Life Center and Family Health Center 9 in Pendik, a 360-day project. Furthermore, the General Directorate of Highways 9th Regional Directorate in Diyarbakır has announced a tender for the maintenance and repair of the Bitumen Depot Chiefship administrative building, with an estimated 120-day completion period.
