UEFA club competition financial distributions

Overview

UEFA is implementing various financial distribution models for its club competitions. Following FC Barcelona’s victory in the Women’s Champions League, solidarity payments totaling 650,000 euros are set to be distributed among 13 clubs in the Spanish Liga F, with each receiving 50,000 euros.

For the 2026-2027 UEFA Champions League, the organization will distribute approximately 2.4 billion euros to participating clubs. Each of the 36 teams in the league phase will receive a participation bonus exceeding 18 million euros, supplemented by performance-based rewards for wins, draws, and advancing through tournament stages. Additionally, 853 million euros will be distributed via a ‘value pillar’ index based on domestic television market size and historical European performance.
