Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca educational initiatives

Overview

The Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca (UPSA) has introduced several educational and theological initiatives in Spain.

In September, the university announced the Senior Higher Program in Cultural Heritage in Zamora. This collaborative project with the Diocese of Zamora and the ZamorArte Foundation is designed for individuals over 50, focusing on Romanesque art, fine arts, local history, and musical legacy.

By October, the university expanded its academic offerings through theological and pastoral training. These include the 58th Theology Days, which focuses on modern catechesis and Christian initiation, and a free online course titled ‘Catechesis and Liturgy’ offered by the Spanish Episcopal Commission for Evangelization, Catechesis, and Catechumenate. Additionally, the UPSA Chair of ‘Church, Secularity, Consecration’ scheduled an academic session in Madrid regarding human identity as part of a broader training project.
