In late September, the university organized a series of free scientific activities at Plaza Sendera to observe the International Day of Scientific Culture. Following this, the university launched the ‘Vocaciones Primarias’ program, which provides STEM workshops specifically for children in rural communities. Coordinated by researchers from the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the initiative uses volunteer students and faculty to conduct weekly practical sessions designed to spark scientific curiosity and encourage future careers in technology and science.
