UOKiK enforcement against iGenius in Poland
Overview
The Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has penalized six promoters of the iGenius platform, known as GameChangers Polska, with fines totaling 413,000 PLN. The regulator determined that the group promoted a pyramid scheme via social media, where profits were primarily derived from recruitment fees rather than the sale of digital educational tools and investment training.
Promoters used social media to showcase luxury lifestyles to entice new members. This enforcement follows a previous fine of over 14.6 million PLN levied against iGenius in late 2025 for operating an illegal promotional system. While the company is appealing that decision, the associated American entity has rebranded as Conectiv, a move UOKiK suggests is an attempt to obscure its connection to previous activities.
