Kyoto is preparing for a variety of sporting, musical, and cultural events scheduled throughout late 2026.

In the sports sector, the Kyoto Marathon 2027 committee will launch the ‘Kyoto Marathon Running Park’ on October 31 at Nishikyogoku General Sports Park to build its fanbase. Additionally, the City Trial Japan 2026 motorsports championship is set for November 29 at Okazaki Park, marking the first time such an event will be held within the city.
