US-Iran and Israel military conflict

A series of military strikes by United States and Israeli forces has targeted Iranian infrastructure. Early hostilities included attacks on transportation hubs, such as the Bushehr airport and various bridges, resulting in significant damage to aviation facilities and meteorological centers. While these strikes led to a temporary pause in hostilities and a standoff regarding the resumption of diplomatic negotiations, military actions have since escalated.

Subsequent strikes have focused on nuclear-related sites, including the Bushehr nuclear power plant, the Jondab heavy water processing complex, and the Ardakan uranium concentrate production plant. Although no radiation leaks or casualties have been reported following the strikes on the nuclear facilities, the International Atomic Energy Agency has expressed concern regarding the potential for a radiological incident.

In response to the security situation, the Russian state corporation Rosatom has begun returning technical specialists to the Bushehr site, with plans to increase on-site personnel as conditions allow.
