Vauxhall brand logo redesign

Overview

Vauxhall has introduced the thirteenth evolution of its iconic griffin logo, moving toward a more geometric, angular, and simplified aesthetic. A primary change in this redesign is the removal of the ‘V’ shaped flag, an element used by the brand since the early 20th century.

According to Design Vice President Mark Adams, the update follows a ‘Bold and Pure’ philosophy intended to improve visibility when the emblem is integrated into the brand’s illuminated ‘Vizor’ grille. This modernization is part of Vauxhall’s transition toward a new generation of electrified vehicles.

The new branding will debut on the STX concept at the Paris Motor Show and is expected to appear on production models starting in 2027. The redesign also coincides with a broader rollout of a new dealer identity and the ‘Brit’s What We Do’ brand campaign.
