Vietnamese professional football season preparations

The 2026-2027 Vietnamese professional football season has officially commenced, marked by the launch of new clubs and early V.League action. In the V.League, defending champions Công An Hà Nội (CAHN) enter the season as title favorites following a 5-0 National Super Cup victory and success in the AFC Champions League Elite play-offs. CAHN, led by coach Alexandre Polking, is scheduled to open their campaign at Hàng Đẫy Stadium against Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh, a team that has bolstered its roster with Daniel Floro da Silva and Charles Atshimene.
