Violence and shootings in Mexico and Peru

Overview

Violent incidents involving firearms and physical altercations have been reported in Mexico and Peru.

In Mexico, gunfire interrupted a religious service at the Nuestra Señora de Fátima Parish in Los Mochis during an engagement between the National Guard and armed civilians, resulting in eight arrests.
