The suspect claimed that marijuana consumption caused hallucinogenic effects and stated she could not recall how the violence began, though she remembered “flashes of biting the victim’s face.” Investigations suggest the motive may be linked to the victim’s lack of acceptance regarding the suspect’s transgender identity.
