Violent incidents in the Dominican Republic have resulted in several fatalities across different regions.

In San Isidro, a shooting in the El Bonito sector left 19-year-old Jeury Mauricio Cruz dead and two others wounded. Authorities indicated the attack may have been motivated by personal grievances against an individual known as ‘Maikel El Malo’. In Santiago, a 16-year-old died after being caught in crossfire when unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on a residence.

In a separate incident in the Yagüita del Pastor sector of Santiago, a 54-year-old man named Juan de Jesús Adames Rodríguez was killed during a dispute. While preliminary police investigations suggest the altercation involved a disagreement over cutting trees and flowers, family members proposed the conflict might have originated from a dispute involving a woman. The victim was reportedly struck with a wooden stick and wounded with a machete. Police are currently searching for the alleged perpetrator, Agripino Solís de la Rosa.
