Vishay Intertechnology resistor product launches
Overview
Vishay Intertechnology has expanded its product offerings with the introduction of new specialized resistor series.
In early September, the company launched the Sfernice CHEP series, which consists of thin film chip resistors designed for high-frequency RF and microwave applications. These components utilize an aluminium nitride substrate to enhance thermal conductivity and are intended for use in 5G and 6G networks, satellite technology, and aerospace systems.
Later in the month, Vishay introduced the Sfernice D2TO35S, an automotive-grade thick-film power resistor. This component features a top-side cooling mount in a TO-263 package, allowing for heat transfer directly to a heatsink. The D2TO35S is AEC-Q200 qualified and designed to provide higher power dissipation while reducing PCB temperatures and board space requirements.
