Vortex Energy Robinsons River salt project

In mid‑July 2026, Vortex Energy Corp. announced that Lonquist Field Service was updating its technical study of the Robinsons River salt project in Newfoundland and Labrador. The update aimed to compile and evaluate geological, geophysical and drilling data to improve the understanding of underground salt structures and assess the potential for hydrogen storage, with results expected by the end of July.

By early August 2026, Vortex Energy confirmed receipt of the final technical study. The study validated a substantial western salt block, highlighted a possible deeper western extension, and identified an untested eastern target that may contain purer salt.
