Subsequent reports highlighted financial controversies involving municipal leadership. Krystian Werecki, the First Deputy President, was found to have received over 125,000 PLN in gross discretionary bonuses between 2024 and August 2026, often cited for “exemplary performance of duties.”

Questions have been raised regarding these payments, as some bonuses overlapped with existing roles, such as Werecki receiving funds for overseeing waste management while also serving as a department director. Additionally, investigations by the prosecutor's office are examining safety negligence within the Department of Spatial Planning and Architecture, which reports to Werecki, alongside concerns that many employee recognition funds allocated by Mayor Moskal-Słaniewska lacked required documentation of specific achievements.
