WiFi4WB public Wi-Fi expansion in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Overview

The WiFi4WB initiative, a project co-financed by the European Union and the German government, is expanding free public Wi-Fi access across Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the broader EU4Digital project.

In mid-September, the Municipality of Tešanj launched free internet services in City Park and on 1. mart Square, with plans to extend coverage to Jelava. Following this, the City of Tuzla implemented similar services at Freedom Square and the Central City Park. Tuzla officials reported that the project has already facilitated more than 50,000 connections over a two-to-three-month period, serving as a component of the region’s digital transformation efforts.
