In Adıyaman, the Nature Conservation and National Parks Directorate announced that individuals hunting striped hyenas could face compensation fines of up to 5 million TL. The directorate also introduced fines of up to 75,000 TL for illegal feeding practices intended to attract animals, noting that such baiting disrupts natural behaviors.

In Hatay, enforcement actions resulted in significant penalties for a hunter in the Antakya district. Following an inspection, an individual was fined 26,278 TL for hunting protected species without a license and outside of permitted seasons. Additionally, a compensation report totaling 1,330,000 TL was issued for the damage to nature after seven honey buzzards were targeted, resulting in five deaths and two injuries.
