The emergency department treated 235 patients over the first weekend, with 25 admissions specifically attributed to alcohol intoxication and related injuries. Hospital officials noted that managing these cases required intensive staff engagement to monitor risks such as loss of consciousness and dangerous drops in blood pressure.

Recent reports highlight the severity of these medical concerns, noting that one individual presented with a blood alcohol content of 4.8 per mille. In response to the record number of patients arriving at the emergency department, hospital officials have urged attendees to celebrate with moderation.
