Wisconsin man charged in stalking and remains investigation
Overview
Benjamin Carl Larson of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is facing multiple charges following the discovery of human remains and serial killer memorabilia in his residence.
Larson was initially identified in connection with a felony stalking case involving a victim who reported harassment spanning from 2013 to 2026. During a search of Larson’s home, investigators recovered several human skulls, a jawbone, a mummified body, and skeletal remains in a glass casket. The search also uncovered items related to notorious serial killers, such as materials from the home of Edward Gein and a jar allegedly containing a piece of John Wayne Gacy’s brain.
While Larson faces stalking charges and is under GPS monitoring, new charges in Fond du Lac County include receiving stolen property and felony bail jumping. Forensic anthropologists have suggested the remains may be ancient Native American, and specialized testing is ongoing to determine their origin and whether they were obtained illegally.
