Women's empowerment and AI integration initiatives

Overview

Regional initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and the integration of artificial intelligence are expanding across Latin America and Europe.

In Honduras, the ‘Soy Mujer’ program completed its first phase, providing leadership, entrepreneurship, and financial education to approximately 330 women in Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela. Meanwhile, in Colombia, Nubank founder David Vélez has taken an advisory role to lead a strategy for integrating artificial intelligence into state policy, aiming to modernize government services and social policy delivery.

In El Salvador, the ‘Crece Mujer’ congress is set to host over 500 female decision-makers, with a focus on financial wellbeing and using artificial intelligence for time optimization. Additionally, the ADECOSE Foundation in Spain has established the VIMA working group to promote female leadership and gender diversity within the insurance sector.
