WWE professional wrestlers career transitions

Overview

Following their departures from WWE, professional wrestlers Lady Leigh and Elayna Black have navigated significant personal and professional shifts.

Lady Leigh, formerly known as Jin Tala, reflected on the one-year anniversary of her release. She noted that the lack of specific reasons for her departure initially caused self-doubt, but she has since transitioned to the independent scene, including a debut for Ring of Honor and competing in Japan to pursue her preferred wrestling style.

Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade, detailed a period of severe depression following her release, compounded by medical emergencies and personal losses. She prioritized mental health and a supportive environment over financial bidding wars, ultimately choosing to return to the ring with TNA Wrestling due to their creative freedom.
