WWII bomb discovery and evacuation in Wrocław

A 250-kilogram World War II-era German SC 250 aerial bomb was discovered during construction and excavation work near Kolejowa Street, specifically near the Grabiszyn overpass in Wrocław, Poland.

Authorities ordered the evacuation of approximately 3,000 residents living within a 300-meter radius of the site. The evacuation was scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, to allow sappers to transport the ordnance to a training ground in Biedrusko for neutralization.

Substitute bus transport was implemented for certain segments, including the route between Wrocław Zachodni and Wrocław Główny.
