Xiaomi has introduced two new mini projectors under its Redmi brand in China: the Redmi Projector 5 and the Redmi Projector 5 Pro. Both models feature native 1080p resolution and are designed with gimbal stands to facilitate wall or ceiling projections without additional tripods.

The Redmi Projector 5 Pro serves as the high-end model, featuring 1,000 CVIA lumens of brightness, HDR10 support, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a MediaTek MT9660 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It includes autofocus, automatic keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and two 10-watt speakers with Dolby Audio support.

The standard Redmi Projector 5 is a more budget-friendly option, offering 400 CVIA lumens, a 60 Hz refresh rate, no HDR10 support, and 7-watt speakers. While both devices are slated for the Chinese market, an international release is not currently expected due to the Chinese-language focused operating system. Estimated prices for the models are approximately 130 and 240 euros.
