Xiluo Qikan Martial Arts Carnival in Yunlin County

The 2026 Xiluo Qikan Martial Arts Carnival was scheduled to take place from September 26 to 28 at the Sen-Huo Wu-Shu Park in Yunlin County. The event, themed ‘Martial Arts Moves in Xiluo, Mirroring Qikan,’ sought to combine traditional skills with modern technology, local tourism, and campus education.

Upon the carnival's commencement, the opening ceremony included traditional rituals such as ‘worshipping ancestors and honoring masters.’ Activities included a martial arts group competition for students, a themed road run with over 2,700 participants, and the introduction of AR and VR digital experiences. To further cultural preservation, the Xiluo Qikan Martial Arts Cultural and Educational Foundation released a new children's picture book titled ‘Quan Mu.’

To support these efforts, the Yunlin County Government is investing NT$493 million into the construction of the Xiluo Qikan Martial Arts Park. Construction on the facility began in July and is expected to be completed in January 2028, serving as a national hub for martial arts education, competition, and tourism.
