Youth apprenticeship and training programs in Brazil
Overview
Various vocational training and apprenticeship initiatives have been launched in Brazil to support youth employment.
In Mato Grosso, Allianz Brazil implemented the ‘Geração Seguro’ program, providing vulnerable youths aged 15–19 with job rotation, mentorship, and career workshops. Concurrently, the National Commercial Apprenticeship Service (Senac-MT) graduated its first cohort of professional apprentices in Campo Verde, following a year-long program focused on administrative services and psychosocial support.
Expanding these efforts, Senac Pelotas announced its Young Apprentice Program, set to begin in September. The initiative targets individuals aged 14 to 24, combining theoretical instruction with practical placements at partner companies to facilitate entry into the labor market with standard legal benefits.
