Youth support initiatives in Poland
Overview
Various community initiatives in Poland are being implemented to provide psychological and developmental support for adolescents and young adults.
In Kobyłka, the ‘Świadoma Kobyłka’ project, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, is launching artistic and educational workshops for those aged 10–16. These sessions use dance, theater, and voice work to improve self-confidence and communication. Concurrently, the MOPS Psychological Assistance Team is offering group psychotherapy to teenagers aged 13–20 to assist with identity, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships.
In Suwałki, the President has funded the ‘Gniazdowanie - Centrum Wsparcia Młodzieży’ (Nesting - Youth Support Center) project. Managed by the EGO Foundation from September 2026 through June 2027, this initiative aims to support 670 individuals. The program provides individual therapy, psychoeducational activities, and support for parents and educators, specifically targeting high school students facing emotional crises, anxiety, and social isolation.
