Zero Motorcycles established a new Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled by an electric motorcycle on a single charge. Using a production Zero DS model equipped with an optional Power Tank accessory—which increases battery capacity from 15.6 kWh to 19.2 kWh—the vehicle covered 436.5 kilometers.

This achievement surpassed the previous record of 310.689 kilometers by 125.8 kilometers. The journey, led by rider Jelle Verstaen, traveled from the Alps near the French-Italian border to the Mediterranean coast. To ensure efficiency, the rider maintained a steady pace of approximately 52 km/h and utilized regenerative braking. The trip was verified via GPS and by Guinness World Records.
