LEGO Group launches Pokémon SMART Play sets with Target events in US

The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International have unveiled the LEGO Pokémon SMART Play range, adding twelve new interactive sets that use LEGO SMART Bricks to produce unique sounds, lights and motion. The sets feature iconic characters such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gengar, Eevee and Mew, with each brick’s cry generated by a synthesiser for a slightly different experience each time.

Target stores across the United States are hosting launch events from August 1 to August 23. Shoppers can receive a free LEGO Pokémon tote bag with a purchase of the new sets while supplies last, and participate in free Make‑&‑Take Pokéball workshops and other exclusive giveaways at locations including Queen Creek, Cedar Park, Maple Grove and Westbury.
