PBSI Chairman Fadil Imran emphasized that the success was a collective effort and urged athletes to maintain momentum for the 2028 Olympics.

Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir expressed satisfaction, noting that the government is refocusing preparations toward the 2027 SEA Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. In response to the results, Raja Sapta Oktohari, Chairman of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia), called for a comprehensive evaluation of the national sports development system. Oktohari suggested that officials must analyze success factors such as coaching, scouting, and sport science to determine how to double the gold medal count and expand elite-level success to a wider variety of disciplines.
