In the Australia/Pacific region, Qantas was recognized as the ‘Best Airline’ and for ‘Best Airline Staff,’ reaching 12th place globally. Air Astana was named the ‘Best Airline in Central Asia & CIS’ for the 15th consecutive year, while its subsidiary, FlyArystan, won ‘Best Low-Cost Airline’ in that region.

Other notable distinctions included Turkish Airlines being named the best airline in Europe for the 11th time, Qatar Airways winning for best business class and best onboard Wi-Fi, and Lufthansa winning for Best First Class Catering. Regional winners also included Air France for Western Europe, Ethiopian Airlines for Africa, and LATAM for South America.
