Recent reports indicate fluctuating infection rates. In Kediri, the City Health Office noted a slight increase in Influenza-Like Illness (ILI), pneumonia, and ISPA cases during week 36 compared to week 35, though numbers remain within tolerable limits. Conversely, the situation in Cirebon Regency has become more acute, with hundreds of thousands of ISPA cases reported. Local legislators have urged the Health Office to ensure medical facilities and hospitals are prepared with adequate personnel and capacity to manage the surge.
