On September 26, the Mar del Plata Train Station hosted a free public exhibition organized by the Ferroclub Argentino and the Museo Nacional Ferroviario. The centerpiece was the 151-ton Vulcan Foundry N. 3925, which recently completed a 20-year restoration. The historical formation included nine vehicles, such as the Werkspoor O. F. 1 official carriage used by Pope John Paul II, a Hitachi cinema car, and various Pullman and postal carriages.

A special commemorative journey traveled through the Buenos Aires province, making scheduled stops in Coronel Brandsen, Lezama, Dolores, and Maipú to refuel water for the steam engine. This event, marking the 140th anniversary of the railway's arrival in the region in September 1886, also highlighted the development of Estación Camet, which grew from the La Trinidad estate following the establishment of the station into a local industrial and tourist hub.
