Campania Libri Festival in Naples

Overview

The fifth edition of the Campania Libri Festival is scheduled to be held in Naples from October 1 to 4, 2026. Organized by the Fondazione Campania dei Festival with funding from the Campania Region, the event will take place at venues including Palazzo Reale, the Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III, and the Giardino Romantico.

Directed by Ruggero Cappuccio and curated by Massimo Adinolfi, the festival aims to foster dialogue across generations and disciplines. This edition features a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Roberto De Simone’s ‘La gatta Cenerentola’ under the theme ‘Jesce sole’. The program includes staged readings, musical performances, and discussions involving both Italian and international authors.

While initial reports indicated over 250 appointments and 120 exhibition stands, subsequent details expanded the program to include over 300 appointments and 130 exhibitors. Specific programming includes the ‘Identikit Poetico – Tutto con il cuore’ event on October 3, and the presentation of Clelia Attanasio’s ‘Anatomia del quotidiano’ on October 2.

Recent updates highlight specific publisher contributions. Franco Di Mauro Editore will showcase Salvatore Dare’s “Santa Rosa – La vela latina più veloce del Mediterraneo,” a history of a Sorrento gozzo boat, with an author meeting scheduled for October 4 at the Palazzo Reale. Giannini Editore will celebrate its 170th anniversary with the presentation of “FUTURI” on October 3, alongside discussions on artificial intelligence and digital well-being featuring author Paolo Siani.
