The Educarchile platform, a collaboration between the Chilean Ministry of Education and Fundación Chile, continues to offer free online training across themes such as wellbeing, inclusion, and digital technology.

Academic research is further exploring the intersection of physical environments and social relationships. At a conference at the Universidad de La Serena, Dr. Mariavictoria Benavente from the Universidad de Concepción presented FONDECYT-related research on how school relationships and physical classroom attributes impact adolescent subjective wellbeing, fostering dialogue between psychology, education, and design. In the early childhood sector, Fundación Integra is strengthening inclusive practices in the Maule region by addressing diverse needs through gender perspectives, interculturality, and universal access materials.

Recent developments also highlight a focus on neuroscience and artificial intelligence (AI). At the ‘Horizontes en Educación’ International Forum, Dr. Daniver Morales from the University of Santiago, Chile, emphasized the need for universities to bridge scientific knowledge with pedagogical practices, specifically regarding how the brain learns and how AI can be used pertinently in classrooms.

In Temuco, the Municipal Department of Education (DAEM) has implemented training for school directors to apply AI to leadership and educational management. Temuco Mayor Roberto Neira noted the importance of using such technology responsibly to support decision-making and administrative tasks without replacing human connection or the integral development of students.
