Following the first anniversary of the death of Italian television host Pippo Baudo, colleagues and broadcasters have organized tributes to honor his legacy. The commemorative lineup includes a special episode of ‘Blob’ on Rai 3 titled ‘Superpippo,’ as well as historical clips from programs such as ‘Canzonissima’ and ‘Ieri e oggi.’ Additionally, Baudo’s daughter, Tiziana, has shared personal reflections regarding his life and his profound connection to Sicily. Baudo, known as ‘SuperPippo,’ passed away in Rome on August 16, 2025, at the age of 89. His career spanned over six decades, during which he was considered one of the last of the ‘four musketeers’ of Italian television, alongside Mike Bongiorno, Corrado, and Enzo Tortora. Originally from Militello in Val di Catania, Sicily, he rose to national prominence in 1966 following the success of the pilot for ‘Settevoci.’
