Cultural and literary events in the Balkans

During the Ratković Evenings, the ‘Risto Ratković’ award for 2026 was shared by two authors: Dejan Ilić for ‘Pokopani rt’ and Obrad Nenezić for ‘Happy end… za tužni završetak’. Jury president Olga Vojičić Komatina noted the high quality of the 46 manuscripts submitted from the region.

Additionally, the Tivat Literary Summer featured the presentation of Marko Braković’s novel ‘Tvrda kora’, in which the author discussed using artificial intelligence for proofreading and design. The program also included Croatian author Jurica Pavičić, who presented his novel ‘Žigice’ at the Tivat Museum and Gallery.
