Joveljic made an immediate impact in his debut for the Sounders, scoring twice in a 2-2 draw against Chicago Fire. He found the net in the 12th and 48th minutes, earning praise from coach Brian Schmetzer for his “goal-scoring instinct.” Despite the individual success, Joveljic expressed dissatisfaction with the match result, stating he felt the team had lost the game.
