Disney has also implemented specific costume policies for the event. While guests are permitted to dress as Disney characters—a departure from standard park rules—costumes must be family-friendly and cannot be obstructive, offensive, or violent. Additionally, guests in costume are strictly prohibited from posing for photos or signing autographs for others. For 2026, Disney announced a new event-exclusive offering: ‘Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party,’ featuring a Haunted Mansion main float and characters such as the Hitchhiking Ghosts. The event also features the Villains Grove, described as a ‘self-guided sensory experience.’
