In late July 2026 a new biography, *Djavan – dizem que o amor atrai*, was published to mark the Brazilian singer‑songwriter’s five‑decade career. The book, co‑written by Tiago Ramos and Mattos, recounts Djavan’s musical evolution, family background, spiritual practices, and a 1987 invitation from Quincy Jones to contribute to Michael Jackson’s *Bad* album.

A few days later Djavan launched the “Djavanear 50 anos – Só Sucessos” tour in Rio de Janeiro. The opening concert at the Farmasi Arena sold out within hours, prompting two additional shows. The setlist featured his classic hits and a tribute to Gal Costa, while a crowd of celebrities and fans celebrated his legacy.

The biography was officially launched on 22 August at Livraria das Perdizes in São Paulo, with a preface by Sara Laisse and publication by Trend Editora. The tour’s second leg continued across Brazil; on 29 August it stopped at Arena Opus in São José, Santa Catarina, presenting at least 25 of Djavan’s biggest songs. The concerts are produced by Live Nation Brasil and Luanda Promoções, sponsored by Banco do Brasil and partnered with Eletromidia.
